UNESCO HERITAGE SITES IN BARCELONA, SPAIN

Nine masterpieces. One virtual journey.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITES IN BARCELONA, SPAIN.

Our tour moves through Barcelona in the order its landmarks were begun, starting with the Hospital de Sant Pau, whose roots reach back centuries. Its Modernista pavilions and gardens set the tone for everything that follows. From there we step into the world of Gaudí, with Casa Vicens, his first home, and the Sagrada Família, his soaring masterpiece. Next comes Palau Güell, where a ceiling pierced with tiny openings feels like a starlit sky.

The journey continues through Park Güell and its mosaic terraces, Casa Batlló with its dragon-back roof, the glittering Palau de la Música Catalana, and the flowing stone of Casa Milà. We close at the Crypt of Colònia Güell, the quiet testing ground for ideas Gaudí later brought to the Sagrada Família. Along the way, guests watch a city’s architecture evolve from medieval charity to Modernista invention.
